Transportation

The Renfrew County Joint Transportation Consortium (RCJTC) is a partnership between the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board and the Renfrew County District School Board (RCDSB) to provide safe, cost effective, on time delivery of home-to-school bus scheduling for students in Renfrew County.

If you have recently moved to the area and are uncertain about the bus routes, bus pick-up locations or times, visit the RCJTC website for boundary maps, inclement weather messages, safety rules and more. You can also visit school bus status for information regarding bus delays and cancellations.

Video Surveillance

A video surveillance system, which may also include audio/sound recordings, may be installed on some RCJTC buses. Cameras may be placed inside and/or outside of school buses, and a sign inside the bus explains that surveillance may be in operation. This is to ensure student safety and compliance with bus rules. Privacy is always respected and in accordance with RCJTC's and the RCDSB's policies. RCJTC, the RCDSB, and administration may view any recorded videos. Bus Policy

Students are expected to behave with due attention to safety and the rights of others on the school bus. Failure to do so will result in the loss of bus privileges.

  • Students are to remain seated at all times.
  • Students must refrain from physical altercations, swearing, throwing objects, littering and yelling.
  • Absolutely no food or drink is to be consumed on the bus.
  • The driver's instructions must be followed promptly at all times.
  • Bus passes will not be issued for reasons such as appointments, birthday parties, sleep overs, extracurricular activities, part-time jobs, etc. Bus passes are for emergency purposes only.
